We have lived within the Brixham community for many years and have both had close links with the fishing industry during this time.  The opportunity arose to open an outlet to source the general public with fresh fish, we felt that there was a gap in the market to open a premises locally as there is not a fresh fish shop within 6 miles of Brixham which is a shame as we are a thriving fishing port.

 Brixham Catch is located in the new Churston Traditional Farm Shop, Dartmouth Road, Churston, Brixham.  It is run by the owners Wendy and Tina who are open six days a week, closed on a Monday as traditional fish shops were.  We stock a wide range of fish products ranging from shellfish, smoked fish and we have a wide selection of fresh fish hand picked off the boats by our local supplier Pete, who has also a wide knowledge of the retail side  of the business.  

We can offer advice on cooking ideas and we provide a range of different recipes.  We have just started to make our own home made

ready meals for example a tasty fish pie, a range of fishcakes and a Brixham Fish Soup to tempt your tastebuds!

Brixham Fish Market has a wide variety of fish being landed daily, we endeavour to offer a good choice, ranging from general white fish to the more unusual Gurnard and Red Mullet.  However, if there is something you would particularly like we generally could meet your needs.
